Is your son ready to build better friendships while having a blast this summer?

Valleydale Counseling Center is excited to host an interactive weekly group designed specifically for young boys to grow their "social toolkit" in a supportive, high-energy environment.

What We’ll Focus On

Navigating social waters can be tricky at this age. Our sessions strike the perfect balance between intentional teaching and structured play, focusing on:

  • Social Intelligence: Understanding non-verbal cues and "reading the room."

  • The "Internal Filter": Learning how to think before we speak and act.

  • Friendship Building: Practicing turn-taking, empathy, and active listening.

  • Emotional Regulation: Managing the highs and lows of competitive play.

Aging is a season of profound change, but it is also a season of profound purpose. If you are navigating the complexities of life after 60, you don’t have to walk this path alone.

Wisdom with Age is a therapeutic group designed specifically for women who desire to seek God’s heart amidst the transitions of later life. Led by Alison Haynes & Sarah Jane Tallakson this group provides a safe, confidential space to process the unique struggles of this stage, including: 

Navigating Physical changes and chronic illness with grace

Adjusting to retirement, “empty nesting,” or shifting family roles

Honoring the memory of loved ones and finding hope in the midst of sorrow. 

Join us as we bridge the gap between clinical support and biblical wisdom, finding strength in community and the Word.
