SPRING BREAK CAMP
Sign up for our teen mini art camp and spend time creating your own junk journal! This mini-camp will teach you fun techniques to create unique pages in an art journal, including homemade stamps, sticker transfers, and ideas for getting started.
Why is this important and what is junk-journaling? A junk journal is an arts-based journal that you create using scraps of your day-to-day life (like your coffee receipt from meeting your best friend or part of a menu from your fave restaurant). Creating your own journal not only helps you to express your own unique personality and thoughts, but it can also help lower anxious thoughts and increase mindfulness. You will leave with new friends, a new junk journal, and a grab-bag of materials to keep going on your own.
Camp will be guided by our board-certified art therapist and includes lunch and all art materials and finished products!
