Jeremy Robuck
LPC
Professional Interests:
With a foundation built on the truth of Scripture and clinical expertise, Jeremy believes that God can bring hope and healing into the lives of those facing any difficulty. His counseling approach integrates biblical truth with evidence-based therapeutic practices, offering clients a path toward emotional and spiritual well-being. He draws from a variety of theoretical approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs. Jeremy frequently uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to promote self-awareness, challenge negative patterns of thought, feeling, and behavior, and incorporate person-centered principles marked by empathy and compassion. He also draws on various trauma-informed approaches to support healing in gentle, effective ways. Jeremy specializes in working primarily with children, teenagers, and young adults, addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, autism, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, behavioral challenges, adoption-related issues, and parent-child relationship dynamics. Just as Jesus met people in their moments of need—offering grace, truth, and restoration—Jeremy seeks to meet his clients right where they are, walking alongside them through struggles, growth, and hope.
Experience and Education:
Jeremy is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Alabama. He holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and an undergraduate degree from Auburn University. With over five years of experience as a professional counselor, he previously served as a youth pastor for three years, where he discovered his passion for counseling young people through life’s challenges. He also gained valuable experience working in group homes within the foster care system, supporting children and adolescents facing complex needs. Jeremy finds deep fulfillment in helping families strengthen bonds, guiding young people toward emotional regulation and healthy relationships, and supporting parents in navigating behavioral and developmental concerns.
Personal:
Jeremy’s journey into counseling began during his time as a youth pastor right after college. While serving students in ministry, he fell in love with the process of listening, encouraging, and helping young people navigate their struggles through the lens of faith and practical support. Psalm 23 is one of Jeremy’s favorite scriptures as it reminds us God is always with us. Outside of counseling, Jeremy enjoys sports, spending time outdoors, playing video games, traveling, and playing with his daughter.
